Booking and Ticketing Terms

Your ticket is issued by the airline and follows the airline's rules. Please check every detail as soon as you receive it.

When a ticket exists

A booking is confirmed only when the airline issues a ticket number. A quote, a payment receipt or a reservation hold is not a ticket.

Check your e-ticket

When you receive your e-ticket, check names, dates, times, airports and baggage. Tell us at once if anything is wrong; corrections become harder and costlier closer to departure.

Fare rules and conditions of carriage

Each ticket carries the airline's fare rules and conditions of carriage. They decide changes, refunds, baggage, missed flights and delays. We summarise the key rules in your quote.

Using flights in order

Most airlines require flights on a ticket to be used in sequence. Skipping a leg can cancel the later legs.

Check-in and airport

Check in online or at the airport within the airline's time limits, and reach the airport early, especially with children or elderly travellers. Late arrival can mean refused boarding and loss of the fare.

Schedule changes

Airlines sometimes change timings after ticketing. When we are told of a change, we inform you and explain your options.
